Maryam Asgari is a prevalent local fashion designer creating unique one-of-a-kind styles that really push her clients into exploring new styles.
For the past decade, Maryam could be found amidst a utopia of colourful fabrics in her quaint little store on West Broadway in Kitsilano. In addition to living her dream of designing beautiful and unique outfits she's also enjoyed a long career as a Set Costumer for IATSE where she works regularly on the set of movies and TV shows.
Maryam always has a desire to challenge herself and to keep learning. In 2014 she enrolled in the Fashion + Design program at Blanche MacDonald where she graduated with the highest honour in April 2016. Her extensive influence from her childhood and education in Iran and now her recent design diploma on the West Coast has helped her create a stunning fusion between Eastern and Western fashion. We look forward to seeing her latest designs at the upcoming Blanche Macdonald Graduation Show in November, 2016.
